What if.......
What if our classroom had a class set of either e-readers (Kindle or Nook, etc), I Pads, or netbooks? Would they help your learning? How so? In what way do you think it would be best to use them?
i think we should have ipads because they are interesting and its more likley to pay atension to an i pad because there cool and not a plane old boring board
My brother has an ipad and it came with the app ibooks and he has a lot of books on it. So it would be good to find books and if we had wifi we could go on the schools internet and go on the web pages.
I think we should have e-Readers like the kindel or nook because then we could have all the books we need right on it. It would be easier to have them because instead of having text books we could just use the e-Reader. Text books take up alot of room in students lockers which could make them disorganized by trying to shove everything in their locker. Thats why we should have e-Readers instead. Also its always diffucult to get a class set of books to get enough and it would'nt matter if we had e-Readers. Also you dont have to worry if somone alread had your book or if the book is not held in the library. e-Readers would make a difference @ school Jessica M. period1

I think that it would be a good idea to have netbooks or ipads or something like that beacuse it could possibly help with the learning of students. It could help with learning beacuse most students like to learn with tecknolagy and they pay more attention to what is going on in class, beacuse like study island there is a certain amount of questions so they try to learn the things fast and get to play a game, after they pass a quiz with a certain amount of questions.
I think that kidles would be the best choice because they have only the choice of reading a book. I think they would help us because it would make reading and learning fun for most of us. I think that icorperating and iPad or Netbook into the classroom is a good idea, because it will provide kids to keep at there own pacea and having a personal experince with them would be a way to add help to kids or the classroom, however, this may be bad because some may be distarcted or confused by the iPad or Netbook. All in all L would say that incorperating these to our classroom is a good idea!
ATM 1 period says Ipads would really help us learn better because 1. if we are doing book clubs we dont have to bring our books to class becase it would already be on the Ipad 2. in math we alredy have a calculator on the Ipad.

I think we should get this new device called the Xoom. It's by Motorola and it's just like the I pad, same size but better color and it's faster and you can download the kindle app on it and it's very handy I'm very glad I have it:) Emily L. Period 2.
I dont know what we should get because i think theres a bigger chance of someone breaking an i-pad because my brother cracked his the other day, so probally we should get kindle's because they can help us with reading and we dont have 2 waste paper to print out paper for little stories. But another problem with kindles is the books coste a ton of money.

Hi! I agree with many people's comments about getting an e-Reader. Sure they may cost money, but they would lighten the amount of things to take to language arts every day. They have bookmarks that can be placed anywhere and also can hold notes. Those who own e-Readers should bring them in sometime, I own a kindle and i would like to bring it in! i think that instead of buying normal school suplies (such as binders and pencils) that you can buy a netbook. they would be very useful for typing and researching and instead of using normal textbooks you could use the online versions. they are better for the environment because you do not have to use paper. With the 21st centurie being the age of technolegy, i think that typing on a computer would be a good skill to learn for future jobs.

I think we should use the knidle because they're cheaper than I Pads ($100 or $550) so we can have more kindles. We could download books and read as a class on them, they also have cases I think so they'll be well protected!

Because i-pads you can take note on....and it is really hard to type on them (well at least it is for me) Or a net book because on a netbook you can type your notes and we take a great amount of notes! Plus when we plan on going to the computer lab we dont have to! we can just sit at our own seats and have our own computer to go on! But we can;t read books on it... but you cant go on the internet on the e-reader...but you can get books from our library for free! i like ipod touches better because ipad is sort of useless because anything on ipad you can do on ipod touch. and i love my ipod touch its very useful when you have nothing to do and its very useful for school because everyone has one and it will be more entertaining rather than sitting there reading books that can become overdue and then you have to pay a fee :)
i think if we useed ipads in class people might be more excited and intrested to learn and read because we would be using electronics.
